April 21: 5K
Last year we already ran in honor of Chornobyl victims. This year cheri N. and I will do it again.
This time around my "motivation" is this:
I like these annual traditions. The April race, then Stare Misto festival in May... biking round the town might be on the list, too, and many other events, activities, places, gestures.
I love traditions.
Even the one where cheri N. goes skiing in the Alps with his brothers every year.
I miss him but I'd never stop him from experiencing something like this:
photo credit goes to cheri N's elder brother:)
Are you a "traditional" person?:)

Last week we finally got unlimited Internet (yes, we live far from civilization) and... a PUPPY!:)
Please don't ask me about the spelling of his official name... It's a Belarussian Slavic thing.
For us he's Grishka, which sounds the same in all languages we speak at home. Some friends say it's a bit "peasant" for a Cavalier but what can we do? "G" didn't give us much choice.
These are the papa and maman imported from France:
Supposedly, Grishka is his dad's copy (as we say in Russian) and le portrait de papa (as they say in French). We'll see if it's true.
Cheri N. is traditionally skiing with his brothers this week. And I'm taking care of the little redhead.
For now we're growing, which includes eating, playing, crying, cuddling, licking, biting, chewing, chewing, chewing, running in the snow, sleeping on the couch, attempting to eat all shoes in the house as well as all cords available, and Anna's laptop. Of course, it also includes some accidental puddles on the floor but Anna's working hard on this, as it is killing her the most, it seems:))
If you're looking for a nice diet and exercise system, adopting a puppy might work - not much time to eat, many things to do and long walks to take. Yeah... Having a baby would do the trick, too, I think.
P.S. IT'S SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
